The Mysterious Tomorrow
How is your tomorrow? Is it good? Is it bad? You never know what will happen tomorrow. Tomorrow is like a big secret for us. Can we guess what will happen tomorrow? No. Maybe you can ask a fortuneteller. But, it is still not sure yet.
Now, we can only prepare or make plans to do tomorrow. Is it important? Let’s check this situation. There are two children. One of them is a diligent student. Let’s call her as A. She studies her school lessons every time. The other child is a quite lazy student. Let’s call her as B. She likes to play game everywhere. She doesn’t think about her school. One day, the teacher gives them a sudden daily test. We don’t know how it will be. Maybe A can do the test or B can do the test, we don’t know. Logically, A can do the test and B can’t do the test. Apparently, the first child, A, can do the test easily. With her serious work, she gets a good mark. The other child, B, can’t do the test. She gets a bad mark for her daily test From that situation, someone who has a plan for tomorrow gets a better life than someone who doesn’t have a plan. We can look at the other example. Indian people endure their life by looking at the past experiences. They are still under-developed. Nations like Germany endure their life by looking at what happen now. Their life is not too bad and not too good. Nations that endure their life by looking at what happen two years or five years from now have a better life. Nations like England endure their life by looking at what happen ten or twelve years more. England has become a successful nation. But now, we can see the nations in East Asia like China, Japan, and Korea develop very fast because they plan life for twenty or twenty five years from now. Have you ever watched a film titled Monsters University? That film has a good moral for you. The moral is "Don’t be pessimist!" If you work seriously, you will get a victory. There was a team named Oozma Kappa. They joined a Scare Games. But, they didn’t have scary faces. Every team bullied them. One of the Oozma Kappa's members, a small monster named Mike Wazowski, believed that they could be the winner of these games. If he couldn’t be the winner, he would have to go from the university because his lecturer, Dean Hardscrabble, would throw him out from Monsters University. They learned and practiced very hard. And they did it! They won the Scare Games!
The other examples that teach us to believe in our dreams are the Trilogy of the Land of Five Towers. They are Indonesian novels but there is an English edition too. The first book of the trilogy had been filmed. The stories tell about a boy that believed in his dreams and reached them. So, what do you want to be? If you want to be a successful person, plan it from now before it’s too late. If you do your best work, you can get the best result too. But, don’t forget to pray to your God. Because God is the one that know what will happen tomorrow, next year, or one thousand years from now.
Try these tips to get a better life. Give your best in your work. If you give the best, the result is also the best. Don’t forget to pray to the God. If you don’t get a good result, don’t be sad! You already give your best work. The result doesn’t matter. Remember, a failure is the beginning of success. The keys of success are hardworking and praying. After that, you don’t have to demand the result. If you get a good result, don’t be arrogant. Remember that you can’t do it without your God’s help. You must thank your God. Now, try to do your best and become a successful person in the future! CommentsMs. T wrote on Aug 6, 2013 |
